Sleeping beauties
When I picked Charlie up from school I could tell that both boys were completely exhausted and ready for their naps. However, when we got home they both put up a big fight about it. You can see in the pictures that Oliver decided to throw all of his blankets and stuffed animals overboard...as well as his socks. Charlie negotiated with me and ended up sleeping in his sleeping bag. Now that the house is quiet, it's time for me to take a nap too :-)

Deep thoughts by Charlie
I've been keeping track of funny things that Charlie says. Today's quote had me laughing so hard I thought I would share it on the blog.
After going the bathroom Charlie looked in the potty and exclaimed, "I went diarrhea....and look mom, it's your favorite color!! Green!"
I love that he thought this would make me so proud :-)
This kid can jabber on...
Stream of consciousness with Charlie...about imaginary rooms...
Snowy sick day
Well Charlie has a cold and a bad ear infection so he stayed home from school today. I'm so grateful that I'm only part time now so I can be home with him when he's ill. Oliver has a cold as well but that doesn't stop him from getting into lots of mischief :-)

A storm is a comin'
Charlie is very worried about the storm...
Bottomless pit
I know this isn't a great picture, but I needed to document the fact that Oliver eats not only his entire meal, but all of Charlie's leftovers as well. He honestly eats twice as much as his big brother. What a tank!
Farewell brunch
We had a great visit with Auntie Cole and Audrey even if it was a bit hectic :-) Thanks to Auntie Jess for letting us steal away for a final meal together without the boys.

Afternoon fun with Auntie Cole & Audrey
We took a walk this afternoon to Randolph's pastries for a cookie snack. Afterwards we played with Dylan and Tyler in their backyard...and got to check out their new car. The boys love having Auntie Cole and Audrey around. We can't wait until we live closer.

All tied up & Doing it by MYSELF
Charlie woke up early this morning and we told him to go play in his bedroom. When I came in to see him at 6:15 a.m. this is what I found. To quote Charlie, "don't I look handsome?"
Oliver is very willful and wants to do everything on his own. This includes feeding himself. He wouldn't even let me touch his plate :-)

Daddy time
Jeremy is headed off for a business trip in the morning. Luckily he was able to be home to play with the boys before bedtime. They sure love their daddy time.

Peace, Quiet and Patriots
Thanks to Papa and Eggie our boys were pretty exhausted tonight. We started the bedtime books at 6:30pm! We are currently reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I knew my Charlie was tired when he asked if he could sleep while I read. And sleep he did...Those moments of him sleeping on me while I read about Willy Wonka's glass elevator are priceless. I know he will be up at the crack of dawn, but at least we can watch the Patriots in peace...and we only missed half of the first quarter!

Jeremy's holiday work party
We had a lot of fun with his coworkers! We also had a great view of the sunset over Baltimore's Inner Harbor from our hotel room.
You'd think I woke him up but he was calling for his books at 5:15am!

Belated birthday
This picture was taken when we all woke up on Jeremy's birthday a couple weeks ago. Charlie wanted to have a dance party and insisted that we all wear hats.
