Papa's Birthday

We rang in the start of spring with a birthday celebration for Papa. It was a great trip filled with neighborhood fun, a 7 mile run, jacuzzi baths, and, of course, treats!! Family time is the best!

Getaway to Puerto Rico

Jeremy and I were lucky enough to get away for a long weekend to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Grampy and Noni came and stayed with the boys, which gave us total peace of mind :-) there's no way to capture all the fun and beauty that we experienced in San Juan. We salsa danced, ran the coastline along the Ironman course, went paddleboarding, ate amazing authentic food, and RELAXED! These pics are just a few of the many beautiful shots we got.

Irish boys

Grandma Laird sent the boys a really fun St. Patrick's Day package! Charlie insisted they put their shirts on immediately and then go watch the new movie :-) Irish eyes are definitely smiling!!

Sometimes you just need a snack

I made popcorn for the boys tonight. Charlie took his bowl and evaporated. I found him in the bathroom. I guess he doesn't follow the rule, "you don't poop where you eat" :-)

The elusive nap

Once in a while, this guy takes a nap. Once in an even longer while, he takes one with me. I treasure these times because I know they are fleeting. We celebrated a successful nap with strawberries and cream when he woke up :-)

Potty time

We're introducing the potty to Oliver in the hopes he wants to copy his big brother. He does enjoy a good book and visiting with Charlie, but so far, no potty results.

Housebound

So today was another day that Charlie didn't have school due to the weather. There were really icy conditions on the street. It's about 4:30 p.m. and I'm really running out of ideas of things to do with them. Here's some shots of today's fun :-)

Sanibel snippets

We had another wonderful trip to Sanibel island this past week. We rented place in the same building as Nicole, Ben and Audrey. It was about a mile from Noni and Grampy's place. For the most part the weather was great... But anything is better than this terrible winter we're having. The kids had a blast and it was fun to see the cousins get some bonding time together. We are so blessed to have each other and to be able to spend that special time together. Till next year!
